In the year of 2018 many things have changed in our day to day life. Instead of walking around with a Kodak in our hands, we have phones that can do it all. But one thing that will never change is the irony of what we do when no one is watching or when in the comfort of your home with no care in the world.

First, we have the shower. Before we go to cleanse our body, we have a night glow where we still look ‘okay’ and you decide to second guess yourself for a good few seconds until you just forget it and start to shower. Maybe you sing or dance but we all have those times where there is a mob of hair that we see as a spider. Maybe its a bug that actually is there and you’re trying to splash it down the drain. You get scared but quickly try to forget and start to sing. You hear Beyoncé, your brother hears Rebecca Black. Then you get out, drying yourself and brushing your hair back. You walk out and there you have a slicked-back little boy walking to his or her room.

Second, when we cry. When you cry, it isn’t like a soap opera or a telenovela when your skin is still pretty and you look normal. No, your skin gets blotchy, your nose is reddish and runs like Niagara Falls, and your tears are all over the place, making it all so much worse.

Third, most of all, is walking home or just taking a stroll where you shouldn’t. We all know how we get when someone comes near us and we get nervous. You don’t have your earbuds and your turn to your only option….the phone. You immediately act like you are having a conversation with someone when you’re basically talking to yourself. Then when they leave, you are free to do whatever you please. Those are my top three relatable moments that most people have and that is all. Until next time.
