Recently, some German students visited our school. These Germans had hosts and were here to learn about American culture and spend some time in the United States. A lot of the German students are very good at speaking and understanding the English language, and many of them are very interesting.

If you were lucky, you may have seen some of them come to your class and introduce themselves around campus. They may have shown presentations to some classes about the history between Germany and the United States. They sometimes may have told funny jokes as well. They all were open to talk to and ask questions, too.

These students also may have given you their Instagram profile. They made some classes more enjoyable. They are all very similar to us. If you got a chance to speak to them, you may have noticed that they have similar interests, and event though they are from a different country , they are still just like everybody else.

If you did not get to meet any German students, there is always next year. The Germans come every year. You may get to meet them in your class next year or even host them.
