Several elementary carnivals are being held this season. There are three carnivals coming up soon; one at Hopkinson, Lee, and Weaver. Teens can help volunteer at booths like the prize booth, game booth, tattoo booth, and more. This is the perfect opportunity for high schoolers to get easy volunteer hours for college while also having fun as well.
Hopkinson Carnival is on October 18 at 2:30 pm to 7:30 pm. The Hopkinson Carnival has a Halloween theme so volunteers are required to dress up in Halloween gear. Each shift is 2 hours longs. To sign up for volunteering and more information, you can email [email protected] or call/text 562-818-4552. You can also visit the College and Career Center to sign up for shifts by October 14.
The Lee Carnival will be held on October 26 from 11:30 am to 4:00 pm. These shifts are 1 hour and 30 minutes long. Weaver Carnival will be held on October 25 from 2:45 pm to 8:00 pm. The length of shifts are unknown and depends on the person volunteering. To sign up for this carnival and gain more information, you can visit the “Contact Us” page at https://weaverpta.membershiptoolkit.com/home. You can also sign up for shifts at the College and Career Center by October 21.
Elementary schools will graciously accept your volunteer work. They will also gladly provide a signature showing that you have helped at the carnivals. Even if you don’t volunteer, the elementary carnivals are a good place to hang about as well. You can help support Los Al by going to one of the carnivals. Have fun this month at the Hopkinson, Lee, and Weaver Carnivals!
