Game 4 of the 2019 World Series was on Saturday, October 26th, and it was a crucial game for both teams. The Houston Astros were already down 2-1, but after this game, they tied the series and then eventually took the lead in Game 5. The pitching match up was Jose Urquidy (Astros) and Patrick Corbin (Nationals). Overall, Jose Urquidy had a better game and came up huge by pitching a great game. He had 5 innings pitched, 2 hits, 0 errors, 0 walks, and 4 strikeouts. Patrick Corbin didn’t have the best game, he had 6 innings pitched, 7 hits, 4 errors, 2 walks, and 5 strikeouts. The Astros had an offensive explosion. All together the Astros had 13 hits, and 8 together they had 4 hits, and 1 run. The MVP of the game was hands down the third baseman Alex Bregman. The Nationals prior to this game were on an amazing streak, but they got shut down. Alex Bregman went 3-5 with 1 run and 5 RBIs. He contributed 4 of the 8 runs from a grand slam he hit in the top of the seventh inning against reliever Fernado Rodney. His grand slam helped who went 3-5, Robinson Chirinos who went 2-5 with 1 home run. The Nationals started off the series with a bang taking a 2-0 lead, but the Astros took the lead back. They only had 4 hits all together and 1 run. They put the Astros even more ahead and then tie the series. Other notables were Michael Brantley  That one RBI was hit by Juan Soto, the young phenom. He hit a little dribbler to the first baseman, but that run didn’t matter at all as it was the only run scored but the Nationals Astros get hot and that is a bad thing because now they have momentum which is why the Astros now have a 3-2 lead in the series. Game 5 is on Tuesday, October 29th, and if the Astros win this game, then they win it all and will be named the 2019 World Series champions. Will the Nats force a Game 7, or will they choke the only World Series they’ve ever had a chance at winning?
