Eva Rojo

My name is Eva Rojo and I’m a freshman. I’ve enjoyed writing ever since I could remember. I read a lot, like a lot, and I guess the writing passion came up when I couldn’t find the thing I wanted to read.  So I just wrote it myself. I go by a quote by Toni Morrison, “If there’s a book that you want to read, but it hasn’t been written yet, write it yourself.”

I’m from Spain, and that plays a big part in my life. I go to Spain every other summer and honestly my best moments have been there. Every time we go my birthday falls in the vacation and I have a lot fun there.

I am in choir, Axcent, and I really enjoy it, the people, the movements, the energy. Everything is chaotic and organized, horrible and amazing, hard and easy, and strangely it just clicks.

I’m very excited to be working in journalism and i’m looking forward to an amazing year of writing!
